Buildings as art

Watching a program on architecture, it seems to me that it's a form of art that I can appreciate. I like the style they were examining, though for the most part it was about domed interiors and roofs for natural lighting. Still, something appeals to me about the whole idea of designed living spaces.

PS - Perhaps it's just the suggestion of room to spread out.
PPS - I'd like to have more space to live in.

One of my favourite things about being in the UK was seeing all the amazing different architecture everywhere - like how the houses in different parts of London were, well, different. And all the cathedrals and castles and all that.

I think there is something really inspiring about surrounding yourself with something beautiful - living in something beautiful. And something really appealing in being the person to do that for other people.

I've had moments of fleeting insanity where I consider becoming an architect, then I just decide to have some input into designing my retirement home and leave it at that.
